Taiwan’s Feng Hsin maintains section steel prices, reduces scrap & rebar prices this week

Feng Hsin Steel Co., Ltd., one of the major electric furnace mills in Taiwan, announced to adjust some prices of its products for this week.
According to the price announcement, the purchasing price of scrap was reduced by NT$300, reaching NT$7,200/ton. The price of rebar was also cut by NT$400/ton to NT$15,300/ton, and that of section steel was maintained at NT$20,100/ton this week.
Feng Hsin said that there were no offers from the US’ scrap shipment last week. During the same period, US container scrap price fell, and Japan’s H2 scrap and Australia’s iron ore prices also dropped.
